This page is placeholder copy for the current design prototype and must be replaced with reviewed legal wording before launch.

Information collected

The current static prototype does not send form information to a server. A live version may process information such as postcode, household energy usage, meter information, current supplier and technology profile where needed to provide tariff comparison.

Future partner processing

Where a comparison, data or switching partner is used, the final privacy notice should explain which organisation receives customer data, why it is processed, the lawful basis, retention, and the customer's rights.

Smart-meter and half-hourly data

If future Smart Match features use smart-meter or half-hourly consumption data, the customer authorisation and relevant data-protection wording must be clear before any data access occurs.

Final contact details, controller information and complaints routes should be inserted before the website is published.
